The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Wildlife Property Repository sits in the middle of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, approximately 10 miles from downtown Denver, and houses seized wildlife related properties that are in violation of the U.S. Endangered Species Act or smuggled illegally into the country..Items range from tiger pelts, cobra skin boots, stuffed sea turtles, snake wine from Vietnam, to small antiques featuring bits of elephant ivory and sea turtle shell. The sale will clear space for newly obtained wildlife property and support conservation education and other activities benefitting wildlife.
