10 Aug 2007.Richard Stickler, Assistant Secretary of Labor and director of Mine Safety and Health Administration addresses the media during a midday press conference Friday, Aug. 10..Stickler said that the microphone that was lowered into a mine chamber, where the miners are believed to be trapped picked up no sound or signs of life.  However the drill might have missed it's mark.
